Novel aspects about H. pylori and its interplay with L. salivarius
Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is a human pathogen colonizing the epithelium of the stomach but also causing a systemic infection affecting other organs like liver. Probiotic Lactobacilli, including Ligilactobacillus salivarius (L. salivarius), have been suggested to be useful for the eradication of H. pylori. I will introduce our research on H. pylori and two novel L. salivarius strains.
