The presentation will give an overview of how it is possible to study the diet of the people who lived centuries and millennia ago. We will dig into various biomolecular fields of lipidomics, proteomics and isotope analysis from very different sample types like human skeletons, ancient pottery, zooarchaeological and archaeobotanical records.
