Management of earthworm and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal communities for sustainable agriculture

Promoting communities of key soil organisms, such as earthworms and arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi, may help improve agricultural sustainability by replacing inputs with ecosystem services. In my PhD thesis, I explored ways to manage earthworm and AM fungal communities for improved soil functioning and studied factors affecting wheat response to AM fungal symbiosis.
