Historical biodiversity changes and what they can teach us about nature conservation

Using 19th century local floras from various parts of Denmark, dramatic changes to plant diversity have been documented. During the same time, Denmark has become a rich country. That teaches us a lesson about the real value of biodiversity og it suggests a way forward for nature conservation.
